Mold Technician

Are you ready to take your career to the next level as a Mold Technician? Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join their team in Oudenaarde. As a Mold Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of molds used in production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently assemble, disassemble, and maintain molds to ensure they are production-ready.
• Repair hydraulic cylinders and create flexible hoses for hydraulic and gas applications.
• Conduct fine mechanical work and apply simple sandblast structures.
• Diagnose and propose technical improvements for defective molds.
• Occasionally engage in turning, milling, and grinding tasks with training provided when necessary.

The ideal candidate for the Mold Technician role possesses:

• A Bachelor’s degree in electromechanics or an A2 in mechanics with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position.
• Experience in a production environment, especially in machining operations such as turning, grinding, and milling.
• Strong technical insight and a passion for mechanics.
• Basic knowledge of electricity.
• Resilience under pressure and willingness to work in a two-shift system after the training period.
• Good knowledge of English or Dutch.
